Louisville Chorus · Kentucky’s longest continuously performing chorus, Louisville, Kentucky.
Ticket sales cover only part of an 87-year season. The rest comes from people who keep Louisville in song. The Louisville Chorus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and gifts are tax deductible.
Giving is organized into the Chorus Circles, and each circle includes the benefits of every circle below it. Chorister at $100 puts your name in every concert program and on the website, with presale access to tickets before the public and season news first. Harmony Circle at $500 adds an invitation for two to a dress rehearsal each season and post-concert receptions with the singers.
Maestros Circle at $1,000 adds priority reserved seating held all season and an annual meet-the-artists evening with the artistic team. The 1939 Circle at $5,000, named for the founding year, lets you underwrite and name a concert, soloist, or guest artist, with a private evening with the Artistic Director and recognition from the stage.
Gifts of every size matter, and all donors are listed as Friends of the Louisville Chorus. Recurring gifts count toward your circle by yearly total, so $9 a month makes you a Chorister. Many Louisville employers match charitable gifts, which can double your support with one ask to your HR team, and the chorus can be included in a will or estate plan.
Giving supports concerts, guest artists, and the programs that keep much of the season free and open to the community, including the Everywhere We Go access initiative with its pay-what-you-can and free concerts.
